This healthy recipe for M&M’s creates a delightful treat that mimics the chocolatey goodness of traditional M&M’s, but with a healthier twist. These homemade chocolate buttons are sweetened with natural sweeteners and colored with natural food dyes, offering a guilt-free indulgence.

Equipment

  • Double boiler
  • Silicone candy mold
  • Food processor
  • Mixing bowls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate (70% or higher)
  • 1/4 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup
  • Natural food coloring (red, yellow, blue, green)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the honey or maple syrup until well combined.
